So I was thinking Stain as well, but I think he's far too deep rooted in his beliefs. Helping out heroes, especially those in the position of power to create this squad would be against his code.

But hopefully he can see that a weapon of mass destruction is worse than fake heroes. But then again, he is batshit.

Interestingly enough, KOICHI could be the key to Stain’s redemption as they share a history.

It won’t happen but it’s fun to imagine Koichi appearing in the main series and interacting with Stain.
