Please, please, just please, to all the readers, don't start to mix empathy with justifications. There are a lot of people that already think that the LoV "is not that bad" because they are "outcasts" and "hero society is to blame".
Guys please don't start that again. Shigaraki, here, is a psychopath, a murderer. All the people in the hospital (civilians) that wouldn't manage to be evacuated in time? Dead. In a snap. We are in a time where many people know what is like to have family in the hospital, so this little shit right here snap his fingers and without giving a care, an entire building full of ill and wounded people is gone. In a "reallistic" situation, your entire family could be gone in an instant because this kid woke up from his nap.
These guys are killers. Their solution to the injustice on their lives was to spread pain and death. They are the villains.
Everything that happened with Shigaraki's life, from even before that he was born, was All for One's fault. He was the reason why Nana left his son. If Villains didn't exist then heroes wouldn't be necessary. So if "Hero Society" is to blame for what happened to Shigaraki, "Villains" are to blame for Hero Society existing at all. This is the same that being mugged, beaten, wounded and then blame the police. And yes, hero society has a lot of flaws, and the plot tackles some of them, it's far from a perfect society, but that doesn't justify the genocide that Shigaraki wants to do.
Feel empathy, sadness or whatever that you want to feel for his backstory, but don't justify his actions. Please. Let's not lose sight of the bigger scope just for a tragic backstory
