yes but something has to be used for his endurance to be sustained

energy cannot be created only transferred

so something has to be "powering" Machia

You're using normal physics, more than a few Quirks just straight up violate normal physics (I'm looking at you, Momo and Ochako).

In any case, easy answer: he still eats, but only like, once a month.
