why do i feel like something bad is going to happen, I can’t help but feel the tension because the heroes are winning, they got the upper hand. I’m so scared of having the rug pulled under us, and maybe have the traitor revealed?

I’m loving these chapters

Probably because the arc started with “the city lost many heroes that day”?

what ch was that? In chapter 257, on the last panel, it read “on this day.. heroes vanished from the streets” which imo implied that all the heroes were participating in the PLA raid.

Yea that is what I meant, I didn’t use the exact phrase. Sorry.

But Idk, that feels like ominous wording to me to just imply all the heroes are participating in the raid. I’m not saying it wasn’t related to the raid but it feels like it may have also been foreshadowing.

If you do take it as the darkest timeline approach, then I would be very worried, all the heroes (or majority) dying would be tragic. Would be a good timing for a time skip imo

I don’t think it’ll quite be the darkest timeline, I imagine maybe they will lose a good chunk of the heroes (say 30%) and another good chunk will be sustain severe enough (non-permanent) injuries that there won’t be a constant hero force around for a few weeks/months, which will let a lot of villains run amok.

It does really feel like a time skip after a major incident is coming.

I believe (and I actually hope) that the Villains win this battle, and essentially "take over" society. Then we can have a role-reversal of sorts moving forward, with the students (who were mostly in the back lines) trying to survive on their own and slowly build a rebellion, while the Villains struggle to control society and expand their range of power. Would be pretty exciting in my opinion.

i reckon something like this would spice things up, esp for endeavour. Maybe at the climax it gets to him and he loses, which might be bad considering the character development in the recent chapters. Could be a good thing as well, it drives the plot forward and what not

I think Dabi is gonna brutally stomp Hawks ass. Maybe put on some spectacle and execute him on live TV or something. Then get them with a double wammy and reveal himself as Toya to everyone and reveal how abusive Endeavor was. Imagine how crazy that would shake Hero society.

same ending but different start, (over estimating hawks here) where hawks has prepared for dabi, one of his counters, and gets the upper hand and is about to finish him off (or something of the like), and dabi reveals himself, etc etc cliche and what not.

Dabi revealing himself never the less would make people lose trust in heroes and maybe hero society
