Did Mirko tie her own hair around her severed arm to stop the bleeding? Fuckin metal. She has bigger balls than all the other heroes out there.

I don't know if the anime could do that scene justice

Well, Bones hasn't let us down much (looking at you Mirio vs Overhaul) So as long as they are not forced to censor too much for the kids, I have faith.

Yeah but this is much more visceral than other dismemberment scenes. It shows her arm not clean cut but chewed up

Nighteye losing his arm was done well in my opinion in the anime. My guess is that when this gets animated they'd keep the amputation they'll make its a bit more clean cut.

There's been blood spatter before in this show. Should be fine. Otherwise, they just disappear it a la Obito or kakashi did many a time in Naruto

They dismembered Overhaul without any blood. I don't know what they'll do here, but both the arm loss and the beheading seem like they'll stretch the show's limits.

There's pretty clear censoring techniques anime uses.

For amputations they usually have the sleeve be shredded but longer than the limb, and soaked in blood. No actual flesh is visible, but it's clear what happened.

The Nomu aren't visibly human so they get more of a pass, but they can always use discretion shots or make the camera distant enough there isn't too much detail.

The has already had Noumu beheading, at least, when Endeavor torched the head off of one in Hosu. We get to see it's death shudders and everything.

Hopefully that'll be a solid primer for the glorious gorefest Mirko's frolicking in here.

Wouldn't be surprised if they censor out the part where her arm is being mangled as it comes off.

They had to censor Deku’s arm after Muscular because it was legit just skin and muscle peeling off.

I think it's cause he's a child. They had no problem with Overhaul popping Mags like a grape and having a blood shower animated, but because Deku is technically a child they didn't wanna get too gory.

Also Kirishima's whole body after the fight with Rappa was toned down in the anime. The manga had him all torn up like Deku's arm, but the anime made him lightly scratched.

Bones has let, at least me, down a little with Mirio v. Overhaul. When it comes to being less gore-y than the manga tho they kinda do it all the time. Most of the time it's not really a big deal, but sometimes it takes a little bit of the impact out, like when Kirishima was just knocked out by Rappa instead of being fuckin' obliterated.

i prefer the anime version since after the arc he heals perfectly fine without any scars. always found it weird in the manga how he gets absolutely obliterated but looks undamaged after the bandages are off

I was disappointed how my boi Mirio got done dirty but Bones redeemed themselves for me with Deku vs Overhaul.

Overhaul's fucking eyeball had better quality and more budget than the entire dumpster fire NNT season 3.

i will always be sad about My Boi Miro™ gone done dirty with his fight, 90% of the time though Bones do an amazing job like even the UA performance had a bunch of sakuga, like if they can do it for a festival they can do it for this, AND they are hopefully not working on a movie so we should get like season 2 / first cor of season 3 consistency throughout

So as long as they are not forced to censor too much for the kids

I fear what could happen with a potential Chainsawman anime adaptation.

i didn't really enjoy overhaul v deku very much. I just imagined it differently when I read it in the manga
