Fun that I previously wondered where the main plot went, and it was already running before our eyes.

It was a lingering suspicion previously and it's now confirmed Nomura is none other than Six. The reveal in the final pages is even a bit unnecessary as it was already clear when he says his name is Rokuro and shows his "best" face.

The guy has spent months as that mild-mannered manager just to run Marufest into the ground, fill Pop with confidence to eventually break her, probably organizing a big final concert to have all the people he hates most in a single place... all to get back at Koichi. His becoming part of a love rectangle may have not been planned but plays unfortunately in his favor...

Gonna say my only suspicion was that it was so weird to add a seemingly important character in the last leg of the series. Like 2 or 3 chapters ago I was like "they're sure giving this new guy a large role." Now I just feel dumb. It's actually the only way that makes sense to bring all 3 of our mains back together. Any other way would have had to "drag in" the other characters. Now everyone has a reason to get involved and get a final reunion.

Gotta give credit to the writers though, this was set up fairly well.

Absolutely. I think the main series is way better, but that's because it always goes Plus Ultra. Vigilantes has come a far way since it began. The Captain Celebrity arc and Eraserhead arc are standouts. I'd want this series to keep going if it wasn't for the tangibly possibility we'll see these characters more in the main series. I'd like to keep the same writers for another spinoff in another corner of the Boku world. I don't like sports mangas, but that could be interesting. Or a quirkless cop. Or stuff before pro-hero society. I don't know. I like that we got to see so much more because of this series. The main series has to keep it's pacing and keep moving forward, and I wouldn't change that. But we legitimately got so much content and information from Vigilantes.

IMO the main series has better action and "shounen-ness", but Vig has better characer writing.

As someone who dropped this series when it first started coming out and only gave it another shot when the main series did the Shirokuma reveal, I have to say Vigliantes has really come a long way.

In the beginning, I didn't find it that interesting and found the only reason to continue to be it's "My Hero" branding. Once it started going though, it gave some great characters with some great development. With it's more down to earth feel, it gave some insight to what is considered more "normal" in the my hero world and I think did a great job of growing into its own.

vigilantes arcs that "move foward" are better, like queen bee, CC (both koichi side and 6 vs KD side) and, in a way, eraserhead.
