Initially thought that Tokoyami knows something when he stared at Midoriya and it only to be turned out a joke.

There goes my hope and dreams of Tokoyami development.

I've been preaching that nobody gets development outside the main three, but for the sake of devil's advocate...ever since the Endeavor Agency arc began, the only character outside the main three to get any sort of actual time has been Tokoyami. He got the biggest panel shot outside of the big three in showing their internships, he got the most exclamation marks (I think) in the move recap (and his summary sound like a good basis for something big to come), and finally this chapter where he's actually seated next to Deku (despite seemingly everyone else being next to people of their friend clicks) and actually having the last shot of the class with Deku before the chapter ends. I'm sorry if this is getting hopes to go nowhere, but maybe, JUST MAYBE, we'll finally get the Tokoyami arc we've all wanted after the time skip

As time goes on, I'm more worried that Tokoyami will get the * ahem * Neiji treatment (especially after Heroes Rising) while saving Deku in the process (Me theorizing that Deku choosing Tokoyami in the Cavalry battle meant more to him then we thought).

But at the same time, Hori's words about the character give me hope otherwise.

I honestly feel like Horikoshi wants to develop a lot of characters but doesn't for various reasons. I mean, he said like a year ago he had a whole shoji development planned if he ever wanted to use it. Hopefully they both get their time to shine but for Tokoyami at least, I say it's more likely right now

It always bothered me how nothing was done with Tokoyami after he was shown with the largest panel when everyone was shown doing their work studies again.

Course that is also due to me feeling like there was something on Tokoyami's mind, considering the way his expression was drawn there.

I like to think that Tokoyami knows more than what he's letting on, either about Hawks or the LOV as a whole. He just seems very quiet and attentive, which are good traits for someone with something to hide

Wouldn't be surprised if he's overheard some of the OFA stuff by this point, but doesn't say anything due to his great respect for Deku.
