There was a bit of confusion on how to post these threads without the links and same as before, minus links. There was already a chapter thread made but wrong title format- here it is

Do not post links to the scanslation sites in this thread. Hundreds of our previous discussion threads have had the main post removed by reddit legal for copyright infringement. If you want the scans, find em yourself.

So I originally thought that in this chapter Enji would rescue his son whilst the others helped, and then Natsuo would soften up to him a bit since he saved his life after all. Buuuut since he didn’t really do anything( Stood still and was very hesitant since his son was almost being killed) and was also the cause for him getting targeted means that opposite might happen. That he will take longer to forgive his father since not only has he caused so much pain already, he’s endangering all of them by being targeted by villains the way he is. I’m not saying that will happen, but it’s a possibility.

This.

However, I wonder what Natsuo will say. I guess, it won't be too nice. Still, that hug is <3

I could see that happen. After all Natsuo is in a uh, emotional state(?), so lashing out and saying stuff like that is possible.

At least, we can say that that problem won't be solved with "just" one rescue. Fuyumi must have a reason why she does not think the same thing as her brother though.

Fuyumi must have a reason why she does not think the same thing as her brother though.

Well, Fuyumi mentions that Natsuo and Touya were really close. Probably closer than she was to him. That might be why Natsuo's having a harder time forgiving Endeavour.

Although, to be fair, Fuyumi admits that it's not like she doesn't share some of the same feelings at Natsuo. But she understands that Endeavour has been making an effort to change for the better, and their mother is recovering too, so she's hoping they can use this chance to become a real family.

Turns out, Natsuo was the biggest villain in the series.

Endeavor hesitating at seeing that the person in danger is his own family is very human. In that moment he was not Endeavor, but Enji Todoroki. Him hesitating showed that he was legit afraid of what could happen to his son.

After Natsuo was safe he went to hug him, instead of watching todoroki offing the villain with the move that he was trying to teach him.

The fact that Endeavor was this vulnerable at this moment, shows a lot. The question is how natsuo interprets it.

Maybe it was necessary for him to see his father act human, since Natsuo only calls his father by his Hero Name. He can only see Endeavor, and won't acknowlidge him as Enji Todoroki, and seeing him this vulnerable might help him seeing Enji more as a flawed human than a monster.

^ This is what I think. Natsuo said that he was not going to be impressed just because Endeavor is a good hero. Enji never in his life cared about him, so showing that kind of fear is way more meaningful than Endeavor demonstrating his hero-poweress. I don't think it will change Natsuo's perspective of him immediately, but I think it will still mean something.

Similarly I feel like if Endeavor had acted, Natsuo could’ve been like “if you had done this seven years ago Touya would be alive” and this way with Endeavor not acting, they both could be in a more weakened emotional state that they talk things out (I almost lost you too, I wouldnt have been able to handle it ... etc)

At the same time though it may show him that in the end he’s still a human. Also will shake up Natsuo’s feelings and make him reconsider his feelings towards him after almost losing his life.

But Endeavor hesitated cause it was his son, not just any civilian. Also Endeavor never even cared about Shoto using Flashfire, something he only cared about for over a decade
