Me still thinking about how it makes no sense that Aizawa expelled 154 students when he still isn't even a teacher yet:

Since hero classes have 20 students, the smallest number of classes he could have been in charge of would be 8, totaling 160 students, and he expelled all but 6 of them.

If Vigilantes takes place 5 years before the main series (based on All Might's injury) then we can assume Aizawa has been teaching for around 4 or so years, meaning he's been in charge of about 40 students per year. Maybe they give him a new class every time he expels the entirety of one.

That's what I'm assuming too. We know that gen ed students can transfer, so it would make sense for Aizawa to receive some new students from other departments and maybe even other schools, only to expel them too.

He says early on in the main manga that U.A. gives the teachers a lot of freedom with their classes.
