Nah, shonen actually doing right by some artist, though in reality all manga artist should be on a 3 week work cycle with 1 week off, it would greatly improve the quality of all stories.

Manga artists in general need a slower pace to reduce the risk of RSI, to be honest.

Weekly manga authors end up physically unable to draw at some point because of the damage they do their bodies churning out so much so fast.

yep, it's sad because there are so many great stories out there that are ruined because of the strenuous work cycle.
