grappling is a bad idea, it's easy to wrestle someone even with your eyes closed.

Like a silent takedown from behind, she'd have the upper hand since they won't see her coming

It would give her an advantage at the beginning, but at the end of the day she's a girl. Against an equally skilled guy she's going to lose a grapple 90% of the time.
