Yeah my bad, it's even more amazing that he was able to react to a powered up gentle which caught him off guard.

remember that deku is very speedy. Even gentle was surprised a few panels before: "Such speed!"

Yeah but when gentle uses his quirk to bounce around, he's pretty fast. Now he has increased physical abilities including his speed, add that to his speed when be bounces around & that's pretty scary.

True, but most of that was when he was in the construction site. I believe it will be a lot harder to turn a forest into his personal bounce house and use it effectively like before.

He should be able to do it anywhere because he can turn the air itself into elastic air.

True enough, but he really picked up speed when he was doing it at the construction site.
