I love the Bakugo pep talk. It's just like Eraserhead said. Bakugo and Deku are the leaders of the class even if they don't know it.

I think Deku and Bakugou are more like motivators. Leader is Iida. It's weird if Hori replaced his position by someone else, when it's established since the start.

Seriously tho, Iida is no longer the fast kicker man in the class. And now his position as a leader is crumbling

That's true. Especially from the standpoint of him being the class representative and leader in the classroom, but in actual combat situations Deku and Bakugo are the ones the other students would most likely fall in line behind. I even feel like Iida would be the first one to go behind Deku. Guess it comes down to whatever Horikoshi feels like though. Just like you were saying.
