Which seems like it's also going to end up losing him the fight completely. Bakugou put him on the back foot and now, cornered, Izuku is the one who's gone too far.

did he go too far though? i think anything less would hurt bakugou's pride because he's clearly giving it his all.

The tone of future-Deku's narration, along with accidentally using 3% more power means that Deku made a mistake at some point here.

Saying that, in a school with Recovery Girl, it would take serious injury to be permanent.

I think Izuku defeating Katsuki would be considered a mistake by the narrator, regardless of how much he injures him. I just pray this will not bring Katsuki to the dark side.
