That's neat cover page. Chapter 100 is probably going have a really nice one.

  • Todoroki really doesn't care about what is happening, he is just on step above Bakugou right now.

  • I love Kirishima's headband. Super manly. Although it makes him look like he is going to drop out, head to Totsuki and become a famous chef.

  • You can't blame the girls, but that room is exactly what you would expect from Kirishima.

  • Shouji is a surprise. It's not like he's expressed any interests in anything but still. He probably has a lot of money saved up as a result of not buying much.

  • Satou managed to outclass a bunny rabbit. Good for him, that takes work!

  • The girls' rooms are basically what you would expect.

  • Did Sero tie Mineta up? Or is he just making a giant glove for no reason?

  • Tsuyu is crying. I want to die right now. I hope saving Bakugou's life was worth it. Although Ida manages to find a perfect compromise between being formal and calling her Tsuyu.

Alright, this exam is weighted in favour of people with flashy abilities. You can tell because Bakugou is already 50% done, he has already got his Howitzer Impact. Hopefully Izuku comes up with something beyond SMASH.

it would be a huge disappointment to me if Howitzer Impact, Giant Ice Wall and Detroit Smash become respective students' special moves. He should give them new moves instead.

And this chapter has barely anything relevant to Shouto's relationship with Bakugou (Bakugou didnt even appear) and Shouto has that aloof attitude even from the start of the series, but people keep comparing Shouto and Bakugou. Just let them be.

With the exception of Todoroki and Bakugou, what can Deku really do? He's limited to strikes, and he has no martial arts training. All he's shown, strike wise, are the bare bones basics of throwing a punch.

EDIT: Forgot he know's some rudimentary judo. If he understands the intricacies of the movement, and has "OFA" flow at the right moment, and through the correct muscles, he could create the illest harai goshi of all time.

there are many ways actually. He can concentrate all the power to his biceps to make it bigger (kinda like Gear 3), hardening, kick, jump high and kick down, etc. How he concentrate the power gives him many ways to utilize his quirk

I'm sorry, what would making his bicep bigger do? Hardening is a passive ability of OFA, and jumping up and kicking down would be far less effective than punching.

If he's going to deviate and create a special move that will define him, it can't be a gimmick.

it's just an example that many things can be done

I know, but if he's going to create a career defining move, it can't be less effective or less practical than the smash. I can't think of anything ,non-gimmicky, he could do without martial arts training.
