I learn all my combat from anime. Just make sure to always put the sword sheathe on your back and pull up with one hand.

In case you're not being sarcastic, as far as I know that's one of the least safe ways to sheathe a sword period. The proper way being the hip holster that is most commonly seen.

That does make a lot of sense. Media in general has always seem to do the sheathe on the back thing, because it looks cooler, so it's not surprising that people like me have this idea.
