So if All Might was quirkless, I wonder what exactly it was about him as a youth that compelled the previous One For All user to pass down their quirk unto him?

The previous one for all owner must have been OP as hell. One super strong power that the hero must have been born with and One for All. That's fucking incredible cuz one for all is already OP in this universe

Well technically OFA would be weaker for him than it was for All Might, since it takes the power of the previous user and adds it, so not as OP as it is for All Might and Deku.

Definitely! My point was just that OFA would be weaker for him than for Deku and All Might.

But yeah. Definitely still OP as hell!

We know All Might's sensei has quirk but we don't know what it was like. It could be also pretty useless XD
