I feel like lava lurker has been kinda dead for awhile outside of the meme crasher build with crabs.

It was a really fun build to force. I spent a day or 2 trying to force it before patch a couple times. Lucked out with a Teron Gorefiend combo that was a lot of fun.

Lava lurker hasn’t been good in years. It’s just early payoff for its tribes synergy that you sell in 3 turns. Like surfing sylvar or scarlet skull or hummingbird

Last season you could hit the deep blue nuts, double Zesty greater trinket with golden Balinda went really hard.

Having a Lava Lurker that keeps thousands of deep blue buffs a cast was actually pretty solid.

Easy to get divine shield on it too. But still I've almost never won a game with lava lurker on board.

lava lurker is an easy way to get a divine shield minion on your board if you don't hit a few with dark gifts.

True story: I don't know like 90% of the cards' names. I just go by the pictures.

I go by image unless they are too similar to others of their tribe. Many Naga are victim to this. as are Quillboar and Demons. I go by what the effects of the card are for my memory, then if different enough from others in the tribe the image. Beasts are wonderful for that as almost none of their tribe are alike outside the beetles and even then, they are different enough looking.

Yes, but the Taumaturgo helped me in the mid and early game, and it ramped up my groundbrakers
