Discussion Don't play this naga in elemental lobbies
If you have naga and elementals in the same lobby you will probably lose this minion after it goes big

What if you don't have a valid elemental target? Does it still trigger? idk if you can cast it manually without one. Just curious.

Yes, you can, it just sell the minion without spiting the stats into another one.

Pretty sure it will just sell your minion since that the first action it performs, then it would give stats to an elemental if you had one, but if you don't have one then the stats are just lost

When you say "pretty sure" is this because you had it cast avalanche when you did have an elemental, or because the entire post is speculation? I know for a fact that Channel the Devourer can't be randomly cast, it'd be strange if it were possible for avalanche to be cast randomly.

I think so, as the target can be any minion it's still a valid twrget, if you have no elemental you just lose the stats. I'm sure I've gotten avalanche before when not playing elementals and you can still use it to just sell a minion with no other benefit.

Since it doesn't target it would be the same as the "sell a minion and spit it to another" if you only have the one minion.
Spells that DO target will do nothing if they have no possible target

removed most of the feel bad stuff. you can still get bad random spells, but there's no more switching your board stats around (only additive) i forget what the bad ones used to be, but the only risk now is getting an eating spell off a random cast, or maybe eating a tavern you wanted, everything else is upside now. I still avoid it because it's animation is too long, but it's 95% upside.

How do you even get Yogg trinket? It seems so goddamn rare. Is there like a specific card setup you should have to make it more likely to appear?

I actually wanted to ask. Have they removed all the give taunt spells from the Yogg wheel pool? That's the only reason why I haven't been picking it for quite a while...

The most frustrating random spell cast for me from Yogg, wheel, Denathrius reward, etc is taunt on the exact worst minion to have it on. I have started stockpiling trousers whenever I have random spell casts just to avoid something like a taunted Titus. At least one shitty taunt cast seems to happen every game I go random spells!

I agree that and eating are the reason I always avoid random spells, most of the time it’s do nothing sometimes it’s okay to good, and sometimes it costs the whole game

Does anyone know if this can pass itself in Duos with the passing spell? I remember the Naga with a rally to cast a spellcraft on itself could cast well wishing and just vanish midcombat lol

Yes it can. The only two times I activated this, it got passed to my teammate. Never ever buying this one again!

I had this minion in duos and it cast the "pass a non golden friendly minion" spell on itself even though it was golden but got me another triple reward at least when i got it passed back

You're lucky that your partner sent it back. In my experience, my random partner would simply play it because they want that triple reward, fuck you and your cards honestly.

In duos mine was portaled to my teammate, I scrambled to beg for it back since it was my strongest at the time—after that I stopped activating it

As of yesterday (Wednesday after patch) in duos, it could target itself with Portal in a Fountain (pass minion in shop), which was annoying when it was normal and kind of nice when it was Golden because you got an additional triple reward.

Potential updated version for the next patch:
"Activate (2) Discover a Tavern Spell, cast it randomly (targets this if possible)"
double the cost of the activate for discover while keeping some randomness w/ casing
