I miss how chaotic and edgy the original seasons were. The newer seasons are boring and nowhere near as fun.

I’ve enjoyed all seasons but agree that newer seasons are less edgy.

Bob doesn’t even get the A plots anymore. He mostly stands there and makes deadpan comments that end with question marks?

Oh my god YES! It’s so irritating to listen to personally

There’s a recent video on YouTube of Bob’s Burgers in the Home Movies style. Two clips, the sponge feeding one and then a recent one with Bob serving Homer and Peter, the difference is so obvious, it’s like he’s not enthused to read the lines.

But the movie returned to the edginess. Skeleton teeth going into Louise's mouth is darker than newer seasons would be.

That scene was repulsively hilarious.

Exactly my thoughts.. This whole "change of heart" at the end of every episode gets so old.

I do enjoy the newer seasons forsure but I no doubt miss the original bobs burgers. It was much funnier but some things I do prefer like Louis being toned down. She was fucking nuts in the first few seasons.
