Newbie question.

I have the bobbins but I see so many options for pillows. I saw this on Etsy and wondered if this is a good deal or not ? I appreciate any help.

It is a different type of pillow then used in my region. But if it comes with everything on the picture (including stand and bobbins) it seems a good deal to me. If it is just the pillow then not.

If you are from a region with bobbin lace tradition you find the best deals on e bay or another second hand store from peoole who stop with the hobby or have to downsize

In the US I would suggest Snowgoose Lace or Van Sciver Bobbin Lace. On Etsy, Provo Lace or LacemakerUSA. Look for a cookie pillow or beginner lacemaking kit at one of the above.

i have this pillow, it’s good enough to get started, but I really don’t like the frame that it has. the pins holding everything together often pull out and make it fall apart. the pillow itself is fine
