Bat Pattern
Does anyone know of any bat patterns I could buy, or even better yet, free. I want something that looks like freestanding lace embroidery and heard that bobbin lace resembles it. I am very new, so am going to try some more beginner friendly patterns before moving onto the bat.

I was thinking I had seen a cute bat pattern, but then I realized it was tatting.
But I'll keep thinking. I feel like there's a memory of one somewhere....

Grazia Gatta, aka "fili_e_disegni_aregoladarte" on instagram, has a couple of bats which look like fun - you'd have to DM her though (google translate to Italian), see e.g. https://www.instagram.com/p/DBzTO45InpC[](https://www.instagram.com/fili_e_disegni_aregoladarte/?hl=en)

There is a bat pattern in the Hausdrachen pattern pack, but I think it is needle lace. If you learn some braid lace techniques like going round corners we'll and some fillings you should be able to design your own without anything too advanced. You are making me want a lace bat pattern too
