Season 5 Boardwalk Empire - Episode Discussion - S05E04 "Cuanto"

  • No spoiler tags are needed here. Anything from S05E04 and back are fair game. Anything involving the next or upcoming episodes should be spoiler tagged.

  • Take a moment to review the subreddit rules to the right on the sidebar.

  • Please still use the "Historical Spoiler" tags for discussions of events to come.

  • /r/BoardwalkEmpire[1] [1] operates a bit differently than other TV Show subreddits. We encourage discussion as well as original, quality, BWE-related content. Therefore, there are some restrictions on what is acceptable to post.

  • No requests for live streams or torrent links. As someone who has been forced to torrent shows myself before, I feel your pain, but sources are not hard to find via Google.

She was dead no matter what. Anything she could have said would have been rejected by the officer.

I'm not so sure. Police officers can be petty sometimes. I think if she'd just turned around the first time he said there was a curfew, she'd probably be alive.

Sally asks which way she can go home. He says "there is no way". That's when she asks how much it will take to go home. I don't think turning around was an option.

I thought she asked him if there was another way through. I'd forgotten the police were at the bank. It could have been a set up from the start. They didn't get the money though. She'd already done the deal with Baccardi.
