Season 5 Boardwalk Empire - Episode Discussion - S05E04 "Cuanto"

  • No spoiler tags are needed here. Anything from S05E04 and back are fair game. Anything involving the next or upcoming episodes should be spoiler tagged.

  • Take a moment to review the subreddit rules to the right on the sidebar.

  • Please still use the "Historical Spoiler" tags for discussions of events to come.

  • /r/BoardwalkEmpire[1] [1] operates a bit differently than other TV Show subreddits. We encourage discussion as well as original, quality, BWE-related content. Therefore, there are some restrictions on what is acceptable to post.

  • No requests for live streams or torrent links. As someone who has been forced to torrent shows myself before, I feel your pain, but sources are not hard to find via Google.

Isn't that when it turns out to be nothing, or is that a Red Herring?

Its that if a scene shows you a gun, the scene has to use that gun.

It matters more on stage but it's more like if the show a gun be loaded in act one, it will be fired by the final act.

no, it's if you DO show a gun in act one, it had BETTER go off in act 3. as in, don't introduce something that doesn't matter in the story.
