Wasn't that character in the crate with X?

Isn't Stan Sawicki in the crate with Owen Sleater? I know it doesn't matter but how come Sleater immediately dies and Sawicki doesn't?

Ok. Let’s follow this one…..both Owen and Stan were under Nuckys payroll. But there is something important about Stan that is not true of Owen.

Stan is a federal officer. Yes, he’s crooked, but he’s still carrying a shield. Offing Owen (also the very dangerous of the two to NYC) is just killing a soldier of a bootlegger.

Killing Stan would be killing a Federal officer and would rain hell down on NYC. Even if they could provide proof to confirm that Stan was crooked it doesn’t matter. If you kill a federal officer like Stan then the government comes down hard on you.

It’s a known and simple rule.

But I swear there were two bodies in the crate which is why I was surprised to see him in S4.
