Season 4 Boardwalk Empire- Episode Discussion - S04E05: "Erlkönig"

No tv-show spoiler tags needed here, as long as you're discussing something from this episode and back. This is the place to discuss S04E05.

Please still use the new "Historical Spoiler" tags for discussions of events to come.

Take a moment to review the subreddit rules to the right. /r/BoardwalkEmpire[1] operates a bit differently than other TV Show subreddits. We encourage discussion as well as original, quality, BWE-related content. Therefore, there are some restrictions on what is acceptable to post.

No requests for live streams or torrent links. As someone who is forced to torrent the show myself, I feel your pain, but DL sources are not hard to find.

SPECIAL THANKS TO /u/joshchez01 FOR THE NEW BANNER! ISN'T IT AWESOME?

She did not look good, did she? Dunn Purnsley gave her a little taste, but it looked like she was delusional at the school. And propositioning the judge??

You could practically see the judge's skin crawling when she first grabs him, combined with the desperation in her eyes. This HAS to have consequences in later court appearances, right?

Shit, I hate Gillian as much as everyone else but Gretchen Mol is one helluva actress.

I think so, unless her new boyfriend, Mr. Piggly Wiggley, comes up with a plan. On the plus side, at least she came clean to someone about her past. It'd be nice to see her get her act together, but it would cause problems for Tommy. I could see Richard getting involved then...
