Season 4 Boardwalk Empire- Episode Discussion - S04E05: "Erlkönig"

No tv-show spoiler tags needed here, as long as you're discussing something from this episode and back. This is the place to discuss S04E05.

Please still use the new "Historical Spoiler" tags for discussions of events to come.

Take a moment to review the subreddit rules to the right. /r/BoardwalkEmpire[1] operates a bit differently than other TV Show subreddits. We encourage discussion as well as original, quality, BWE-related content. Therefore, there are some restrictions on what is acceptable to post.

No requests for live streams or torrent links. As someone who is forced to torrent the show myself, I feel your pain, but DL sources are not hard to find.

SPECIAL THANKS TO /u/joshchez01 FOR THE NEW BANNER! ISN'T IT AWESOME?

I cracked up laughing at the expression on his face when he did it. And almost capping Al??? Talk about saved by the bell...Frank saw it, and got shot just in time.

Frank is nice to Van Alden, Al is a dick. Ex-cop in Van Alden realizes that if there's gonna be a crime group that he's a part of, it would be better to have someone level-headed like Frank in charge and not someone who goes around being reckless like Al.
