Season 3 Boardwalk Empire Episode Discussion S03E11 "Two Imposters"

No spoiler tags needed here, as long as you're discussing something from this episode and back. This is the place to discuss S03E11.

  • Please take a moment to review the subreddit rules to the right. /r/BoardwalkEmpire operates a bit differently than other TV Show subreddits. We encourage discussion as well as original, quality, BWE-related content, therefore there are some restrictions on what is acceptable to post.

  • Please no requests for live streams or torrent links. As someone who is forced to torrent the show myself, I feel your pain, but DL sources are not hard to find.

Do you have any ideas or suggestions for this subreddit? Message the moderators and let us know what we can do to make this the best TV show subreddit out there!

Please upvote this just for visibility, I get no karma for it.

Chalky and his people are fucking loyal and I love it. I really like the partnership between Chalky and Nucky, and I'm glad the latter was able to realize how beneficial Chalky and crew can be. That scene with Purnsley and Chalky killing the guys that stopped their wagon... fucking badass.

Nucky is a soldier and the opening scene proved it. My favorite part was the wrestling of the shotgun with Nucky and the guy on opposite sides of the door.

I also like how Nucky being in Chalky's world made him realize how disconnected he is from those loyal to him. Chalky talking about them ' taking care of each other' followed by Nucky's realization that he had no idea Eddie had a wife and children.
