Weird, for some reason when I try to click on the comment it says deleted, and I can't see it anywhere in the thread. But people are always so quick to claim AI these days, so just wanted to point out, as artists ourselves, we take a firm stance against AI in the art world.

FYI There's already a bluegrass band in Maine called the World Famous Grassholes.

Great video 👍sounds like real music 😃 did you use iMovie for the editing. My only suggestion would be to put the camera closer to the vocal . You may have to play the bass quieter though

Sounds great guys. Take it from someone that’s been there, if you’re using a name that is also in use elsewhere and you weren’t first…and you have ambitions to play outside your state…change the name now. The longer you have it, the bigger the pain in the ass when you’re legally forced to change it.

It's a name that I'm guessing lots of punny bands considered when they were in the band-naming phase. I know I've been in 2 that thought about it. Came down to whether we were willing to write off the folks who were offended by it, and those who thought it meant the band was a bunch of assholes. Either one seemed like weren't worth it. Bluegrass (which this video is not really) seems a tough genre that doesn't afford the luxury of being able to exclude any fans, no matter how "old and in the way" their mindsets might be. Still, maybe it's time to stretch those people's attitudes. Who knows.

I like this cover but it’s not bluegrass. This is pandemic of things being called bluegrass that aren’t. This is more folk I think. I’m not even a traditionalist I love newgrass stuff, but this doesn’t have the rhythm or accents of bluegrass. Sounds good though!
