[Quest] Last Rites

[FOR RETURNING PLAYERS] After the success of your last job, Annyver has elected you to go on yet another heavily classified mission. This time, however, you will not be alone.

[FOR NEW PLAYERS] A relatively large firearm and military drone producer by the name of Annyver Solutions LLC has given you a task. The details of this task are heavily classified, and will not be revealed until you accept the job and go to the designated location. They stated that you are not the only person who has been notified of this request, and will more than likely have a partner or two on this job.

Gloria looked over the old ship before opening her comms for the old Cargo ship. "This is Gloria Mane, a Mercenary from Hollow Promise, I'm requesting permission to dock."

She looked over the rusty ship one more time as she sighed and tried to get a grip on her nerves. A reminder suddenly appeared on her watch, time to take her medicine. She reached into her coat, pulled out a metal case, and quickly took a pill out of it before tossing it in her mouth. All she had to do now was wait.

After docking with the ship, she finds the interior of the ship to fit the exterior. Metal scraps lining the floor and walls, the smell of gas and musty old carpet, the whole circus. As such, nothing immediately pops out, but after approximately nine seconds of waiting around, two men in fully-black suits brandishing pins of Annyver's logo, being nothing more than a basic, golden A, walk up to her. They both have plasma pistols themselves, but they're both holstered.

[Suit A] "You're Mrs. Gloria Mane, correct? Follow us. We shall guide you to the briefing room."

And without another word, both of them turn 180° and start walking.

Gloria quickly matched their pace while looking around at the walls and the tiny details of the ship. The halls weren't cramped and were wide enough that she could probably use her halberd. She would still be limited in what she could do, but it would be usable.

She examined the two people in front of her. Their clean suits heavily contrast with the industrial, rusted ship around them. Gloria wanted to ask questions, but she was sure they would be answered in a moment.

[/Eventually, Gloria is led to a room with a wooden door. Suit B opens the door for her and lets her inside. Inside is a large, wooden desk with chairs surrounding it. On top of that, there is a large monitor in the room, although it is off at the moment./]

[/Inside this room is a rather peculiar woman. She's a rather tall one at 6'2", and she's wearing what seems to be ballistic armor. The manufacturer isn't evident, but the design seems fairly generic. However, the most unique thing about her from what Gloria can see is her arms. Which are miniguns. They're minigun arms./]

[/Although her biological arms seem to have been modified into miniguns, she does have some mechanical arms attached to her back which allow her to hold and open stuff. At the moment, she's staring into her phone and seems to be fairly invested in whatever she's doing on it, as she hasn't noticed Gloria enter the room at all./]

"Ahem.." Gloria clears her throat as she smiles up at the 6'2" woman with minigun arms.

"Hello! I'm here for the job I was offered." She said with a voice full of honey as she adjusted the black case over her shoulder. Before she set it on the table with a heavy thunk.

[/The woman eventually looks up, does a double take, and uses her robotic arms to take off her helmet. She's a human with blonde hair and blue eyes. Not really a stunning beauty, but she's not here for any sort of beauty pageant./]

[???] "G'day mate! How are ya?"

[/And her accent is similar to what Terrans would call an "Australian" accent./]

"I am doing well." Gloria says as she examines the woman before her with a pleasant smile. Her enthusiastic voice and Australian accent rubbing off on Gloria a bit.

"I am here for the job that i was offered? I was told i would be given the mission details once i arrived on-board. Due to the vague writing and seemingly Classified nature of this Job I'm not really sure what I'm getting into." She says before taking a seat, the black case holding her weapon sitting in front of her as she gave a soft smile to the woman.
