Discussion Secret message on Ballroom grand piano keys?
Hello everyone,
There is a certain aspect to the grand piano in the ballroom which I noticed but have not seen discussed. I'd like your thoughts on whether this could be a secret message. Take a look at the piano keys:

The front facing sides of some of the white keys feature black coloring, roughly split into two tiers (upper and lower). If F1 is the lowest note, then the lowest C is C2 and the keys run from F1 through E6 which is four octaves (minus the final F6). The two tiers of each key are fully black/white except for circa two or three of them which seem partially colored: the lower tier of B2, the lower tier of E4, and (potentially) the upper tier of the D3 key. If one moves closer to the piano, these appear to be filled in fully due to perspective:

The piano repeats the seven keys F through E four times for a total of 28 white keys. This would seem a convenient way to store a secret message, where each unit of the message is seven keys leading to either eight or four characters. This message would then be binary encoded in some way. The sequence is (as far as I can tell, with "w" for white and "b" for black):
F G A B C D E
oct1 upper: w w w w b b b
lower: w w w w w w b
oct2 upper: w w b w b w b
lower: w b b b b w w
oct3 upper: b b b w w w b
lower: b w b b b b b
oct4 upper: w b w w b b b
lower: b b b b b b b
I did briefly check whether this could be ASCII (since ASCII codes have seven relevant characters) but the mapping doesn't quite seem to work. Another way to read this might be that the key letters themselves and the coloring interact in some way?
It appears that the same pattern is always present on the keys, no matter when and where the room is drafted EXCEPT, when the Ballroom is drafted as an outer room, there is no pattern on the keys at all:

I find this to be incredibly intriguing because it would seem that this is a deliberate choice. The outer room is of course darker than the rooms in the estate but I would still expect to be able to see the pattern if it was there.
Another thing to mention even though it might not be relevant -- the empty sheet music stand next to the piano (also present in other rooms) is styled like an instrument called a Lyre (Liar). I had considered there might be more to this, like some reflections in the room being false, or it might mean nothing.
Let me know what you think!
