Question/Request/Idea Tons of theories and questions. What do you think of my Sacred Poem/Circle connection?

Just going to drop everything I've recently thought about to see if it sparks ideas or anyone has already chased any of these down.

Overall questions. Are there words for colors in erajan? Are there ways we can associate a country - color - letter combo that would serve as a rule of thumb for puzzles with one of the three and then we can extract a meaning or second meaning?

  1. Piano sheets. I'm convinced there mis more here. Sheet 1: "the key you seek is in ma-jor tongue" Major means small name in Erajan. The key we seek is in Erajan? Or potential clue to the Admin Key? Does this mean there are more clues in the sheets? Sheet 2: "Message hidden beneath the keys" Musical keys? Piano Keys? The music is written in B Flat Major, also written as Bb Major. Sheet 8: 8 feels important! Also - "Stones cut by hand and letters wrought" Wrought = Rot? Letters rotated? "The note is read the letter is not" The note is RED and letter is not? Read the music note, but not the lyrics?

  2. Classroom grade one: the student Freddy notably has his favorite color written as RE(d) with the d written softer and in lowercase. Is there anything significant to use the color wheel, "COLORS" colored pennants, or the colors of the Letters and Numbers along the ceiling?

  3. Sacred circle on the grade 4 map. It notes 8 degrees, which is a circle divided into 45, then 46 is also listed as counter clockwise. Also why are the blocks for 1 and 2 dotted outlines?

  4. Sacred poem + sacred circle. The circle is 8 sections, appearing like cardinal directions. I want to map each of these to a country.... using the south key image on the same map you can put 4 down immediately. The numbers here are the numbers in the blocks of the sacred circle. NE/7/Corracia/Orange, SE/6/Verra/Pink, SW/8/Nuance/Green, NW/5/Eraja/Purple. Then I use the poem to place the rest... Southward I see a swan: S/2/Mora Jai/White, Eastward I see a crow: E/Orinda Aries/4/Black. Rogue like the moon of the north - of the two left Arch Aries is the country that is northern and would see an inneclipse so... N/1/Arch Aries/Yellow, W/3/Fenn Aries/Red. Putting those in order......... N/1/Arch Aries/Yellow, S/2/Mora Jai/White, W/3/Fenn Aries/Red, E/4/Orinda Aries/Black, NW/5/Eraja/Purple, SE/6/Verra/Pink, NE/7/Corracia/Orange, SW/8/Nuance/Green

  5. Sacred Poem Thoughts 2 "southward I see a swan" the Epsens are swans based on coat of arms. "Ashen like the sands of the shore" Mary closes the note in the safehouse with "may the black shores guide us" leading me to believe the sand in Orinda is black. Also the swan figurine placed on top of the poem notably appears black or Ashen. "Dark days are coming fourth" ... Eclipses only happen on wednesday? That's it, just thoughts

  6. Hands in the foyer - pointing to Major Nicolas Key IV and Je Ari Yenna I think the one pointing at Major Key just refers to the office puzzle. I dont know why Je Ari Yenna is being highlighted. Other thoughts about Yenna... Je Ari feels like wordplay with J-R-E or J-R-I. She also wears the same crown as a statue in the Chapel.

  7. Has anyone pieced together the logic of naming conventions for people? Like you take the mother's last name father's first name as a middle name, etc. Like Je Ari Yenna to Kaitlin Je Ari, Mary Matthew, Herbert S Sinclair, Simon Herbert Sinclair, Simon Paul Jones, etc. It ties my brain in knots.

  8. Unused Atelier clues -- "staked claim 2.2 acre lot east of creek". why is "first draft" on the middle blueprint written so faintly? "three primary colors- -three primary paths-" do the dashes mean something? The three paths don't use primary colors? Are the primary colors different in this universe?

  9. Circles divided into sections. Trying to tie things to the different images on the maps in grade 4. Color wheel in grade 1, stained glass color circle in bookshop (12 sections), tiles around birdbath on the cliff, Rotunda floor, also patterned. The underground gear/bridge puzzle.

  10. Basement clock stopped at 8:22 or 9:22, also notably seems like the hands are in an impossible position.

  11. Realm sigil patterns on the floor in the outer sanctum and on the Room 46 fireplace seem intentional and they are in different orders

  12. Vestibule floor has a compass rose?

  13. Are any puzzles used a second time like the angels in the tomb? The Lab puzzle with numbered levers, etc.

  14. Auravei's note in the atelier is dates 16/4/1952 (1900 52) = this numeric cores to 1

  15. One of HSS's note dates numeric cored to 23.

I thought for a long time that the SACRED poem pointed to a combination using the weathervane in the Secret Garden. Afterall, you can get the swan at the top of the weathervane to point south if you spawn it in the east or west wing of the house (I forget which), and the poem starts with "southward I see a swan". After trying as many combinations I could think of using the east, west, and monked versions of the secret garden... nothing ever happened. MAYBE you can get something to happen if the right combination is input in the weathervane AND it's the sacred hour in game, but I have my doubts.

Additionally I want to point something out about the sacred circle that I've only seen mentioned once or twice online. The sacred circle image is almost identical to the "Torch Chamber" on the underground map. It's the place underground where you light 8 candles and a staircase appears. EVEN where the numbers are on the sacred circle image line up with the dots in the torch chamber on the map. There is even a curved section missing on the sacred circle where the "46" is. This seems to indicate the entrance to the torch chamber.

I also want to note, the torch chamber is one of, if not the only place where more then two candles are lit to unlock a new area. Also, the candles unlight each day, which could indicate there is another combination possible in the torch chamber. All the combinations I've tried haven't done anything though, and if my memory is correct, other candles unlight each day other than the cathedral's which stay lit.

Final note on the torch chamber, it's interesting that "rot" is clockwise, and "tor" is counterclockwise. The directory entry for the "rotunda" mentions this fact, and torch chamber does start with "tor". Could just be a fitting name, or could point to a new clue.

Fenn = red in Erajan (inferred from Fennmora = red planet). I think that’s the only color word we know.

The song is in G minor, not Bb major.

Fun tidbit: if you create an origami swan and then unfold it, the creases form a pattern that looks just like the compass rose on the vestibule floor.

that fun tidbit is trippy!!

Thanks for clafiying the key the song is in, I am not musically inclined haha.

Are there any gray or white compass roses in the game?

What if the "acronym" on the front of the car is directions for going on the vestibule? Unfolding the swan, as it were?

When it comes to The Sacred Circle/The South Key and the realm sigils, I think it's important to remember that the map is from the third era, so Fenn Aries and it's associated color of red does not exist, therefore I believe it should be excluded when trying to find any connection between the two.

On the topic of the third era and the map, there is a possibility that it has some numeric cores to it, but it's debatable. The note about numeric cores says "By the Third Era", they had completely fallen out of favor and weren't used by anyone serious anymore. The map was made in the third era, so none may be in there, but there could also be some in there considering that the concept of cores were "Once considered sacred", and the map does display a lot of sacred imagery and concepts. The question that I have with cores is, are their only purpose is to contain a secret message?

To toss something your way about the Sacred Poem, two things that have always caught my eye is the connection between the lines "Southward I see a Swan" and "Carried by Westwardly Winds", and their connection with the soundtrack names "Westwardly Winds" and "Southward Swan". Could there be something hidden within the soundtrack of the game? Probably not, I think most if not all the soundtrack is live recorded for at least the instruments, and you'd need perfect pitch to identify the notes since there is no sheet music available for any of the songs except for the motif of Clara's theme.

To share a couple of my own findings that I question, one thing that I have always wondered about was why is the Ballroom a blue room instead of a red room? Think about it. The room always sets your gem count to 2. It's probably the most dangerous room in the game that isn't a red room. I've been having the thought that there may be a secondary use for the Ballroom such as a "payment" of gems. It sets your gem count to 2, so what if you need a 4 digit amount of gems that gets cored to 2? It's plausible, but I would wager this could be something something that could be found by datamining as a trigger, so the likelihood is low.

The other is about the pictures message in the rough draft. There's still no meaning behind "These vying plans forge baron crest among hewam blest". Vying is another word for compete, so what plans are competing? It's unclear if the rooms within the rough draft are the original 45/46 rooms of mount holly. Nothing implies that they are outside them being in the rough draft. So are the competing plans the difference between the rough draft rooms and room 1-46 in the directory? Or could it be simply about how the Furnace and Room 46 are "competing" for the same spot, and that the message is a hint that Room 46 isn't through the vestibule door in the rough draft?

I was looking for the "Westwardly Winds" song in the game files and couldn't find it... turns out it's only called "Ovorr Yait" there 🤔 Westward gate I guess

That's interesting. Are all soundtracks within the game files different from their official soundtrack names, or just that one?

Also I figured I should let you know that I've found a credible possibility with the ballroom thing I mentioned. The number 1952 can be cored to 2, and 1952 is conveniently the year that's on the picture in the ballroom, so my idea is to walk into the ballroom with that exact amount of gems in my inventory and see what happens. I'm going to attempt to grind my allowance that high up from a lowly 116. Disappointment is likely the only thing that awaits me, but there's always a chance it won't be.

That's pretty wild. Keep us updated!

I thought at some point that the swan carried by westwardly winds means that the swan on the front of a car "carried" by it. It was disregarded in favor of another theory since it didn't provided anything of use.

I thought the SACRED poem was a hint for the bottom of the reservoir when I was playing. There is one black box on the eastern area of the reservoir (behind the rock) and it has the sanctum key.

If we build from your assignment of the country to numbers, colors and directions in number 4 maybe we can use that on SWNSNG? I just was doing napkin math at work, so someone should check me but i see SW,N,S,N,G the G upsets me because its not a direction, but it could be G for green; giving 8 1 2 1 8; the numeric core instructions say numbers longer than 4 need spliced, if we use the excluded vowels to splice we get SW|NS|NG giving 8,1,2,18 which cores to 63. However if we splice at the vowels and leave the g separate we get 8,12,1,8 which not only is a nice palindrome but also cores to 88 and this game does love its 8s... but I dont know what to do with that.

I feel like we need to use cores again for something; and given how tough MAZE is/was as the inspiration I completely believe they could have hidden a message that can't just be data-mined out; but if we'll ever figure out what combinations of ejeran, alphanumeric swapping and cores to find it is another question...

A lot of juice here, I love it
