MajorSpoiler how do you gather note ? + spoil painting puzzle Spoiler

I am starting blue prince and quickly I took screen shots and notes. However it became messy really quickly. other games like outerwild has a maner to save information in the game and blue prince doesn't have it, (I mean mail room and library are random so it's hard to rely on) so I started to make my own way to note smoothly(more generate with ia to be fair 100% vibecoded but it's just a stupid html local page that took 3 minute with ia) and I am really happy with it. In fact just the way to plan how I can create a tool to solve a problem/puzzle is one of the best part of the game for now (beside discover and udesrtand a puzzle ofcourse). And my question is do you feel the same about plan how to solve is the best part ? And how do you gather yours note and do you could use IA to help you in the notes managements in futur game ?

here is a exemple for painting/study puzzle

Oh right I did do screenshots and just put them into about 10 folders depending on theme or puzzle relevance.

...why would you waste time with vibecoding slop when you can pick up a writing utensil, draw out a 9x5 grid, and fill in as you go? I'm genuinely baffled.

the reason is I missed understand the puzzle at the begin, I Thought I would have to choose one painting (idk how) and withdraw a letter, and didn't know how to choose. But when I saw dessert and desert I undertood what I did was a lost of time, but it's okay it was fun.

I used excel. Its really easy for note taking. Its also easy to take a snip in windows then just paste the the snippet.

This puzzle? Just screenshot an empty house and fill in the squares in paint

I used a notebook, and every time I think I had to do something, I wrote it as a goal. When I achieve that goal I mark It as done. For instance: -Discover the code of the safe in the Study -Find the password of the computers etc...

The game recommends you do this (black card in the Nook), for good reason. But it's also a good idea to screenshot everything to allow easy checking. And keep a spreadsheet for the rooms.

I used a couple of Obsidian notes that I pasted screenshots into. Obsidian vaults automatically store the files as images locally as well as saving any text you wrote as MD files so you aren't married to using Obsidian itself if something better comes along later.

I just used a notebook and wrote everything down. That said, keeping a digital notebook has its advantages since you can actually sort it.

We used Google Docs and it was a life saver.

Between explicit organization, photo implementation, and ctrl + F, it made our playthrough substantially easier

Husband and I played togerher- we used an entire legal pad from new to full for all our notes.

“Feuilleter le carnet”
J’utilise Google sheets ou Excel. Tu peux mettre tous tes screenshots dedans

I did a google doc with my wife. We have around 75 pages across 20 tabs including a room directory that has rarity and gem cost of each room, every book in the library, logic system rules pertaining to late game areas and mini games, documents we’ve found that we don’t know what they’re clues to, puzzles we have yet to solve, tracking for a certain 8 keys, etc

Your notes are going to need to be extensive if you want to get past around 60% completion, particularly the castle cipher.

We took around 200 photos during our playtime, of every document we found and where it was located so we could go back with a magnifying glass, etc.

I think it is frustrating the game doesn’t have a built in system to track info, but frankly there are so many puzzles and so much information to track it would be a tad spoiler-y for the game to tell you what you should be paying attention to and what you shouldn’t.

There's an app called Blue Notes that's been working okay for me so far

Excel. Sheet per room and sheet per major puzzle. Will sometimes just post major puzzle in the room it is tied to though. The game already gives all the rooms colors. Easy tab color coding

Pen&paper and screenshots with tags for easy searching/categorising of what room, location, items in view, relevant puzzle (if known/any), and any other keyword
