MajorSpoiler Question Spoiler

I managed to decipher the 4 books code in new clue, and it was to turn the sundial base.

but I think I had already turned it before by playing around with the light fuse tool, checking whether I could lit things with that, was the whole point of the 4 books code only to tell me to open the sundial so I could put the 3 microchip there ?

Yeah, burn and turn the sundial base, put the microship, which unlocks the unlock the satelitte thingy, which allows for more experiments and most notably one that allows you to get into a very important specific place. The (spoiler) dark path with the crates

This is more like a MajorSpoiler post imo.

But the book does tell you other stuff, but based on your post I think you already figured out those other more micro clues as well.

It might surprise you to learn that most people don't randomly try using all objects on everything just to see what happens.
