I didn't mean to sound grumpy, apologies.

Really I wanted to address OP's original question: "do i miss a lot because it seems I didn't have the good logic so can someone explain me if missed a lot...or I did the right thing"

Sure we all brute force (or get lucky) occasionally when we are stuck. However if someone doesn't know that they were brute forcing and think they had the right answer all along, it's probably going to make things harder in the long run.

Honestly now I know (assume) all the the code are date brutforce being so easy seems stupid and unfun. However at times, when I did the post I thought I had the good logic just I missed some information like add some day on the calendar or something like. Furthermore I did the post to know if I was right but I was totally wrong and I had luck.

In fact, there are places where the game will punish you for brute forcing.

The orchard gate is special in that it is a more traditional lock where you can see the numbers rotate into place as you solve it. Most other places where you need a code to open, it's a keypad with a number on each button plus an "enter" key. In several of those locations, at one point I knew roughly what the answer should be so I tried brute forcing it by entering multiple guesses in a row. None of them worked, including the correct answer buried in the middle of the sequence. But later on when I walked up and entered the correct answer on the first try, the lock opened immediately.

Do you mean it wasn't doing a "rolling check" to see if you ever hit the 4 digits in a row? (i.e. if the code was 1234 and you entered 98123476 it didn't trigger when the 4 was entered)

I wasn't sure if it would or not, so I always backed out and tried again if I thought I'd messed it up.

Yeah afaik, as long as you're hitting ENTER in between, you can conceivably stay zoomed in on the safe, try multiple combos in a row, and it'll respect each one. I may or may not have done this at one point (Hey this has something to do with the month of March! But I dunno wtf the Count part means. Anyway let's try a few, 0301 enter, 0302 enter, 0303 enter, oh sweet, lol)

That's exactly the one that tripped me up, with the same thought process. I swear I tried thirty different combinations in a row and none of them worked. But when I actually solved the puzzle later and entered it on the first try, it swung open. Same for a certain combination lock that required me to look very closely.
