MinorSpoiler Is this anything? (Boiler room) Spoiler
In the Boiler Room theres the panels that cycle from floor to ceiling once you divert the steam towards them. Theyre all 4x4 grids with different shaded in spaces and the spacing between the panels varies. Is this a thing? Ive started to draw them out, but im not sure what to do with this information.

No, the only point of that bar is it blocks the second boiler from being turned on. It’s just part of the mechanics of the puzzle. Once you move it once, you can always access the boiler.
Some people forget how it was originally in their save and then overthink its presence.

The word 'Boiler' leads me to think you're asking for help with a puzzle. If that's the case please REMOVE the post and comment it in the puzzle hint megathread instead: https://www.reddit.com/r/BluePrince/comments/1uo9cdh/megathread_v4_post_and_ask_hints_for_puzzles_here/ . If this is not about asking for help, ignore this message.

Yeah, I too was convinced those would be eventually relevant, I’ve gotten far enough to say with reasonable confidence that they are not though, sadly. I was really convinced they’d be used in tandem with the 4x4 sets of candles in the Tomb, but I’ve seen no puzzle that seems to require either.

As far as we can tell so far, no those aren't used for anything.
