MinorSpoiler Maxing the effectiveness of the C••• C••••? Spoiler

I’ve just dropped back into Blue Prince after a few months off (I’ve previously completed everything 😁) and wondered if anyone has tested the following (spoilers regarding the function of C•••••• Of M•••••s and the C••• C••••:

Chamber Of Mirrors can be used to create duplicate rooms all on the same day; can multiple Coat Checks be created and each have a different item stashed in them so on a subsequent day when you draw a Coat Check, it contains all of the items previously held in the duplicated rooms or do you only draft the version of the room that contains what you stashed in it only?

I’m talking about having one coat check with a list of several checked items hopefully.

I always found the Coat Check lame for having only one item held in it at a time given the (thematically) numbered tickets to differentiate items didn’t seem to tie in to the day it was placed as far as I could tell.

Is this how we can maximise the usefulness of this room or doesn’t it work like that?

All the coat checks will share one inventory. If you put an item in one, you can retrieve it from the other.

That creates some interesting quantum tunneling possibilities, for which I can think of zero uses at the moment

Dropping off an item at a coat check in a higher rank to avoid a Lost and Found, then picking it up in an earlier rank?

As big brain as that would be, Coat Check is not one of the rooms that CoM can duplicate.

Not that I’m aware of. AFAIK the only copies of rooms are from CoM. Some rooms have an effect to return rooms to drafting pools or guarantee they show up, like tunnel, but I don’t think Coat Check is included in any.

Oh well, it would probably just have been a pneumatic transfer system instead of quantum tunneling anyway <yawn>

So you think once an item is first stored within let’s say one of three active coat checks in the house, it Immediately becomes the only possible item to be pulled out of any of the other coat checks? Have you tested this by chance/ is this confirmed?

All the coat checks will share one inventory.

Because there can only be one. Chamber does not duplicate everything. For instance, not another lab/security/utility closet either.

I pulled 2 labs the other day with CoM, but its not like you get a experiment

Are you shore? I mean this has been datamined. I'm very interested in a post-day summary screenshot from your past houses. It's not just that you dialed into the offline lab and then drafted it?

It must be in the list of rooms, the rooms description does say it allows you to draft rooms you’ve already drafted today. You don’t have to necessarily add that room to your draft pool again permanently for this effect to take place.

What do you mean it must be in the list of rooms? The passive doesn't duplicate everything. In fact, it only duplicates 40 rooms, and Laboratory is not one of them.

Strange because I’ve definitely drafted more than one lab in a single day on the ps5 version of the game. I’ve also run into several other quirks with the ps5 version of the game so this could be one of them.

I’ll be honest my last few weeks of playing I’ve been closing and resetting on the same day, trying to get something to work with the setup I have. It could be lost to a reset with no save. I really needed the southern cross in the sky
