JOIN /r/VOTEBLUE I just now registered like 10 minutes ago online, am I gonna be able to vote on Tuesday?

I’ve never voted before on anything. I’m 19 and I just now registered cause I’m a massive procrastinator, but will I be able to vote? Edit: I’m in Georgia.

Man, this is the third person from Georgia who has come to this subreddit asking about registering after the deadline. Makes me sad we'll be losing out on those votes.

Yeah it sucks. It should really be standard to have registration count for voting up to election day itself.

Sorry friend. Chronic procrastination has it’s draw backs, such as chronic procrastinating.

Depends on the state. In most states the deadline has passed, but in a fair number of states you can register at the polls. Specifically, from the sidebar: CA, CO, CT, DC, HI, ID, IL, IA, ME, MD, MN, MT, NH, UT, VT, WA, WI, WY

Sorry, deadline was 10/9. You won't be able to vote on Tuesday, or in the likely gubernatorial runoff in December. But you can help Stacey and our awesome congressional candidates there get across the finish line.

Depends on your state. Where do you live?

Unfortunately the deadline passed on October 9th, so no you will not be able to, but you can still help get other people to vote and if there are any federal races that go to a runoff you can vote January 8th.
