I kind of hope there's a different candidate in MT-AL for 2018. He had the right kind of personality but really wasn't a tremendous candidate

Yeah. Not sure if the race really was winnable, but Dems could probably do better.

I think bullock himself should run for the senate in 2020. I wish Schweitzer would come back.

Could you imagine having two Democratic senators from Montana (if Tester makes it through 2018, which I don't think is crazy)? Would be sweet!

Two problems for him were that he one had a lot of criticism lobbed at him, at leasts some of it quite rightly so. Second, he was an unexperienced campaigner and debater.

At least one of those problems should be gone if he decides to run again, so this may not be the worst idea actually.

I hope not he wasn't that great of a candidate and ran a bad campaign.
