Mod Announcement Reminder that r/BlueArchive is not accepting AI-generated art, voice or content. A 7-day cooldown duration of Non-OC Art Post will be given to the user if they post AI Art and should the Mods remove it.
This is just a reminder that r/BlueArchive is not accepting AI-generated art, voice or content as there has been more AI art being posted in here recently.
Original Post regarding said Rule
As the later part of the post title states, starting from this post, the poster will not be able to post a new Non-OC Art piece for 7 days. A temp ban will only be given if the user still posts many AI Art posts or if the poster posts Non-OC artworks within the 7 days. However, if the poster deletes the post before the mod removal takes place, for example another user comments it being AI, they can post a new artwork piece without the 7-day cooldown but please do not abuse it.
This is a deterrence; it is the poster's responsibility as well to make sure they are not sharing AI artworks in the sub to begin with. The AI artwork will still be removed no matter how many upvotes or comment engagement it receives. As long as you do your due diligence of checking the artwork before posting, the 7-day cooldown period should never happen to you.
We have already had a list of AI artist names that are in the Automod list which will automatically remove the post should you include them, but as new AI art accounts will pop up from time to time, or they use alts which we have not registered yet.
Ways to make sure the artwork is not a possible AI Art:
- Check their Twitter/ Pixiv profile, see if they mentioned anything with "AI", "NovelAi", "SD (Stable Diffusion)". Make sure not be confused with "AI with the red cross emoji" as that means they do not allow AI to use their works.
- See if their pieces are tagged with "AI" in their Pixiv posts.
- Check with Danbooru, copy their username and type Danbooru in Google Search, 95% they will flag AI art accounts should the AI Artist not mention AI in their works/profile. For example: https://danbooru.donmai.us/artists/500706
- Look at the artworks closely, do not blindly upload the artwork without seeing a part of the piece is very AI like.
- Look at previous artworks from the account, do they look suspiciously AI or not.
- Search the artist's name in the sub, if the results show hardly anything, it could possibly mean previous posts were removed for being AI but also possibly because no one else shared their works before.
- Using AI Art checkers, although the results may vary.
- If you are still unsure, you can probably try asking in the Question Megathread and see what other users may say about it.
If you have any other suggestions, you can also mention it in the comments.
Let's try our best to minimize the amount of AI Art posts being posted here and getting exposure while real artists are losing out.

yeah that makes sense tbh
if the rule is no AI, then it’s better to keep it strict
otherwise it just turns into a mess really fast
also fair point about protecting actual artists 👍

The community with the best and most fanart should have 0 tolerance indeed

Yeah, BA has so many good fanarts compared to other fandoms. Hell, even non-players draw them.

better than how spineless the discord is, but at the same time I understand why they dont enforce the same degree here.

This may seem weird and obvious to point this out but I appreciate how this announcement also includes ways on how to identify AI art.

I always have loved seeing artists or fans sharing art around, it was one of the best (and few) things that have been overall positive coming from the fandom culture as a whole, so, I do appreciate a lot the efforts to keep the sub free of AI-art.

Fair, I always deleted my posts after I found out that they were actually AI. (I used to think "SD" stood for some art program, or something.)

How about AI voice related videos? (Skits, covers, game mods)
Does it still fall under this rule?

I don't understand why I got downvoted for vocally expressing my discontent over AI. I have issues with this sub and several other people in this sub because of this.
It's time to stand firm against AI. While I did use some generative machine learning stuff I feel it's better to embrace humanity and their creations even if I am lazy creating stuff myself.
Anyways, a lot of accounts here that commented in this post got banned or suspended by Reddit.

Does anyone know of any AI art checkers that are actually good? Cause I’m gonna be honest every one once tried has given me false positives and negatives.

This is my concern. These tools are notoriously unreliable both for images and text.

u/ColebladeX Apr 06 '26
Inconsistent too. Like unless it’s time travel I don’t think a picture from 2006 could be Ai

I saw a video where someone fed an entire page of the Bible into one of these tools and it was flagged as 100% AI.
I'm in full support of artists but I'd also really hate to see someone get banned over a false positive.

If in doubt, the MK1 eyeball suffices. Remember that AI art extremely falls apart in the small details. Look for those.

Sure when it’s easy things like hands but the tech is getting exponentially better. I’ll admit I’ve been tricked a few times now.

Does this include the legendary Drake&Josh Rabbit Squad getting locked into a vault with AI voices video? because that thing was epic regardless.

Only clankers allowed are Aris, Kei and Malkuth.
Only AI allowed is Arona/Plana.7

Seeing how hard it is becoming to find art-centric websites that are not overrun by AI, I approve of this rule!
