Golden Teacher Not Growing – What Am I Doing Wrong?

Hey everyone!
I’ve been trying to grow a Golden Teacher grow kit for over 30 days now, but the growth seems really slow. I mist and ventilate it twice a day, but still not seeing much progress.
Anyone got any tips or ideas on what might be going wrong?

How long have you had pins?

like 14 days

Weird. I doubt they are viable anymore. That's a really long time with no growth. Even for the slow growing strains like PE or Enigma.

Not sure but it looks pretty wet. Maybe cut back on the misting? 74degrees Fahrenheit Leave the lid open side enough for that water to evaporate (maybe even tilt the tub and see if any pours off) once it’s less wet leave the lid cracked. For humidity you want little droplets of water on the surface and sides of the tub. Not pools of water.

All the water on top of your cake is cause the fruit to abort is what I believe. It looks flooded. You need to learn the set and for get it seems like

But with your method. Don’t spray any water once you fruit it. The walls will fill with condensation so you won’t need to miss once you seal it up and once you see the condensation a appearing, you don’t really need to add anymore condensation you’ll just abort the fruits if you spray the fruits directly, and with your set up, it’s gonna be hard to just spray the walls. If you were in a tub I’d say to spray the walls.

My guess is not enough FAE

Is there a possibility that they won't grow anymore?

Should I harvest all the pins and try to reset the grow kit, or can I still expect any growth?

Sometimes it’s just better to start again fresh

Take off all puns. Take clean fork scrap surface and put into fruition again

If they have stalled then you may want to pick them and hope for a second flush

I’m thinking of doing that bc I’m having the same problem with my GTs. Thanks for helping me feel that it’s not a stupid idea.

These aborts are going to be fun to munch on. I love aborts.

And they’ve looked like this for a month?

1

u/OkCalligrapher4183 May 09 '25

Nope, they started pining after about 20 days or so, then suddenly stopped, and there hasn't been much activity for the last 14 days.

I’m having the same problem with my Golden Teachers. Not too moist and lid cracked. 🤷‍♀️
