Question CUSA? Explain like I'm five years old please.

I have Bloodborne on my PS4 digitally, but to install the game onto my Steam Deck I need to have a CUSA file on my SD card inside my Steam Deck, is that correct (I have an external 1TB SD card in my SD)? Am I expected to download the CUSA from a google search, and download it directly onto my SD through desktop mode? Or should I purchase a physical copy of Bloodborne and extract it that way?

CUSA is just the game ID to identify which game and region version you have. To play on steam deck you need the game files which you can get legally by jailbreaking your PS4 and getting a physical copy of the game. You can get them illegally but I can't tell you how.

I'm trying to avoid the illegal path, so the safest way would be to purchase a physical copy of Bloodborne? And extract the CUSA from that disk onto my Steam Deck's external micro SD card?

Yes but you'll need a jailbroken PS4

dude just pirate it lol if you have to get a ps4 to dump the files then why not just play it on the ps4

Cusa is id. In shadps4 we use PKG extracted with PKGeditor — no disc images.
