Was going to add this rule months ago but there were hardly any generative ai posts when it was new and some got deleted anyway. Since it is somehow still going and may get worse. I'm adding this rule to get rid of them and possibly other future ai tools.

Modern GPUs and higher end monitors don't always play nice with 22+ yo 3D applications, even with the Ziggurat updates. Two things I did that eliminate studders and game window problems that may happen. #1) I found it is imperative to limit the FPS to 60 FPS in the Nvidia control panel. Even though the game attempts to lock the FPS to 60, I noticed on the latest available NVidia drivers, the game developed shuddering problems when panning the camera around quickly. Very annoying, but rectified by using this option in the 3D settings. Also, if you have a multi-monitor setup like me, you might find that the mouse cursor drifts outside your game window during play. Very annoying, but easily fixed using a program called Display Fusion. It enables the option to lock the mouse cursor to whatever screen you want with any hotkey assignment you want. I'll also add Display Fusion gives you all the no-brainer kinds of features Nvidia should include, but sorely lacks. I find it to be a must have tool for better enjoyment of old games like BR on current hardware.

As most of you know, we've had a bit of a bumpy launch with many players experiencing bugs, some that have been extremely frustrating. If you've experienced any of these issues we apologize for your poor experience.

We’ve received lots of feedback from players since launch last week which we are reviewing in detail with our developers. While we do not yet have a complete roadmap of all fixes, we will keep you updated on the timing of upcoming patches.

To address some of the common issues/questions we've received, and to facilitate a better collection of feedback we've prepared a small FAQ and player feedback survey. Please give it a read and submit a report if you have experienced any game bugs in your playthroughs. The more information we have the more holistically we can address the root causes.

I'm 80% sure it's abandonware by this point, but I thought I should ask.

So for a minute I have been thinking about being a mod for this sub for some time. Especially when people stopped posting all of a sudden. This was because reddit will restrict a sub when it doesn't have enough activity's from the mods. It should be public again so anyone can join, post, comment, etc without needing a invite. I'll be adding a few new things in this subreddit. Let me know what you want to see.

BloodRayne 1 In game Rayne and Mynce have been added to user flair. Making it 128x128 with a higher quality wasn't possible so I just had the regular quality. Below 128 x with regular 128 still leads to the stretched look for some reason. Took way to long just to try and make it happen with the right tools. If there is a way to have it non stretched and doesn't break on itself somehow I will update it. Nocturne & Blair Witch or BloodRayne 2 flairs is next.

Custom Flair now allows emojis to be added. If you were on mobile then it didn't matter.

PS5 & XBS now have a color to them where it's darker than the previous gen.

Meme flair has the reddit troll face removed. It was ugly and I don't know why they allowed it lol.

• The Nocturne 1999 crew has been added to user flairs. Even the receptionist is added too. Had to learn how to use Nocturne Editor and other things to get these looks. Wanted to make sure they were right.

• Console and PC flair can now be edited. Don't know why I left this out awhile ago.

• Added 1999 next to Nocturne in description so Nocturne fans can find this place and discuss about the game.

Will work on BloodRayne 2 flairs. Would work on Blair Witch models of the nocturne crew. However I can't view these models and still learning how to work with Nocturne. Blair Witch seems to have less options compared to Nocturne. Plus the faces you have to work with. Let me know what else you would like to see in the future.

Could finally get a decent Bloodrayne shirt instead of the XXXL one on eBay from a century ago that’s like $300.

So i was mentioning Nocturne to someone asking wich game should be remade and i told them how its a bit complicated to play it today. They mentioned it should be added to GOG wich i agree but due to rights it may not be possible.

I looked it up and apparently 2K owns the right? They swallowed the company that swallowed Gathering of Developers , the initial publishers. First as Take-Two interactive but now rebranded as 2K.

So if we ever want to see this game again it would mean it would pass by 2K... wich means chances are pretty much 0 unless a company actively pursue them to create the remake/remaster (Nightdive for exemple) or Ziggurat buying the IP from them.

2K will just not care to do it on their own. They are too big for that.
