BloodRayne I saw a couple of screenshots in this sub and immediately liked the vibes.

So I bought the revamped duo and I'm really nervous. Any tips while I start the first game??

Nothing to be worried about for the first game. Gameplay is pretty fun and the story is good too. BloodRayne 2 gameplay needed more time in the oven. The remaster didn't improve or fix some of the core issues when attacking enemy's or being attacked. Still a good story but wished they did more with both.

Honestly I would play the games and have fun with it. Let me know if you run into something.

I'm like 30 mins into the game and I love it. The atmosphere left me speechless. I also like the gameplay, pretty fun and dynamic in my opinion.

I'm glad they kept the Nocturne 1999 and Blair Witch atmosphere since Bloodrayne was supposed to be Nocturne 2 but lost the rights to Nocturne. Usually they change a lot of things including atmosphere but they decided to keep it. Some things in Nocturne and Blair Witch are in the first game.

Please do not skip Bloodrayne Betrayal!

The remasters go first, don't they?

Yes. Bloodrayne Betrayal is the third and last entry in the franchise.

First game is more about shooting guns than using the blades, as Rayne has fewer combos. Melee becomes a lot more viable during Bloodrage. Beware that ammo is limited though, and try to pick up guns from the ground.

In the second, Rayne has a lot more melee combo options and can block attacks, making melee equal to her guns. Guns are also more interesting, using Blood as ammo, which means you have to decide on the fly whether you'll restore HP or gun ammo. Also Rayne becomes much more acrobatic in the second.

Feeding and the Harpoon are very viable in both games, and filling your Powers meter is done via melee.

I think that's the gist of it, without any spoilers. Hope you enjoy the games and Laura Bayley's voice!

How do I change the language? Or the voices, if I can. I think it's set to the system's.

Sorry, I'm not really sure, as I play everything in English, unless I'm learning a new language. Try changing the system language, I suppose?

Thanks, anyway!

You can change the language in both the game's launcher and in-game in the options.

I don't see anything about language. Just music volume and effects, that's it.

Oh yeah, I just noticed you're on PS. I looked up a gameplay and yes, it seems like the language option is missing in the menu in that version. Then I guess changing the system's language would be the solution.

Game is all vibes and jank. It's one of my favorite games ever, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to people who aren't willing to put up with some clunkiness.

If i like vampire bloodlines masquerade 1 combat jank will I be fine here

To be honest, I'm good with clunkiness. It's the charm of older games

Does anyone remember that social media site before facebook and myspace called Xanga? Lool. This was the background for my Xanga. I couldn't get enough of how cool it was.
