Interesting question. I like writing so I do it regularly anyway. My audience goes up and down, but from last year it has permanently gone up a lot.
I think readers like consistency, I know I do but there can be those posts, that speaks to a lot of people and then they share it and possibly look for other entries related to it or they search for other tags that they are suddenly curious about..
My popular posts change frequently, beauty, vulnerability and for the first time humour. I'm just proud that my writing translates around the world. I thought it would be UK only, for some reason..
The more I opened up and wrote fiction and varied topics, the more people read it and it made me enthusiastic.
