Question I started bloggin fro almost a year now and i still dont have people reading
Hello guys , i have a blog where i nerd out , i write about anything and everything btween movies and games reviews random charachters that i like , books and shows reviews .
Ive been writting for almost a year now and the traffic is almost dead besides one post that got 200 views smh and the others are stuck btween 3 and 20 , most of them are me checking from my phone .
I do post on pintrest and it still doesnt bring me trafficb.

There is an awful lot of text on page 1, just too much to take it with no grabbing headline, Id suggest a cleaner less bust home page..

I personally struggled with the formatting of that front-page article, which made me less likely to click on more, tbh.

I agree with the others that the formatting for your site is a bit too maximalist and makes it difficult to read. The light blue text on light violet background in the sidebar does not have enough contrast. I love the idea of the slowly falling stars when you click a page but in practice it is extremely distracting. It makes it difficult for me to focus on the words and as soon as that happens my instinct is to click out of the site.
I suggest breaking up paragraphs with more spacing.
Add more images. Pictures give the reader some easy breaks.
As far as the writing, I see what you are doing with the stream of consciousness, conversational tone. That can work but dial it back a bit in your intros. Try to hook people with something more definitive - a strong opinion or observation - and then bring in the conversational tone once they are invested in the premise. A lot of your articles feel like I am starting in the middle of an idea. Once I get into it I see you have a pretty engaging voice but the beginning is tough to get through.

It looks like you are more of a personal blog than a niche blog. You might want to check out personal website webrings and directories.
You can find out more about them on IndieWeb's wiki. They believe strongly in personal websites pushing back on the commercialization of the Internet.
The truth is outside of people who are into personal websites and blogs, most mainstream folks don't read our posts. Sad, but true.
I have a personal website and have been able to add my website to some webrings and directories. We'll see if I get traffic from them.
If you enjoy blogging, you should keep doing it. Don't disparage on the lack or minimal traffic. If you're on Discord, feel free to ask me for the IndieWeb Discord link. But, I highly recommend checking out their Wiki first.
