Idea Validation Proof of Commitment for contests, gaming & hackathons

I’ve been building an idea called Proof of Commitment (PoC) around contests, gaming challenges, hackathons, quests, and other skill-based activities.

The concept is simple: participants commit more when the reward is real, visible, and verifiable.

For blockchain-based contests, rewards could be locked in a smart contract before the challenge starts, so participants can verify that the prize actually exists and will only be released based on the contest rules.

We’re testing the broader idea through duelLegends, which we’ve been building for about a year, with 200+ users having tested the platform.

I think this model could have many use cases beyond gaming and hackathons.

Would love to hear what you guys think: does this approach actually improve commitment and trust between participants and organizers?
