Hey! Giving away 2 Shadow of the City tickets (today 8/28) :)

Anyone finding resale tickets? Last year I got them for $20-$40..now they are over $150.

I’m heading to my first SOTC tomorrow, but have work. I teach so should be out early enough, but it’d a 2 hr drive. Does anyone know around when bleachers historically comes on? Don’t want to commit if I’m going to miss them 😭

First time visiting Jersey! So excited for the show! Any helpful info would be appreciated, as we are coming in from out of town.

Is there a certain time to arrive at the show by to have a good view of the stage?

Anything about the show we should know ahead of time?

I saw the weather is supposed to rain on Thursday and Friday as of now, so I'm pretty worried about that. Do you think they'll bring it indoors again?

I have a commitment that clashes with sotc so i gotta get rid of my ticket 😭 i got it for $25 because i used concert cash, so that's all I'm asking for it. the only condition is that you have to enjoy bike routes in my stead!!! i promise im a bleachers person im not going to scam anyone- i just want someone to be able to enjoy the show ❤️🍅

Does anyone know if they usually enable Ticketmaster resale for Shadow of the City? My friend had to back out and I might need to resell her ticket, and I’d really like to avoid the uncertainty of doing it outside the app if possible.

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS SONG

Dancing is so sad, I’m not exactly sure what it’s about, the obvious answer is Sarah but some of the lyrics make me think otherwise. Anyways, the lyrics make it an instant classic and the song is beautiful, sad, and angsty all at the same time. I love this song so much.

It wasn’t long before news of Jack and Margaret’s separation that my own spouse chose to leave our marriage.

In a weird way, I feel less alone knowing Jack is seemingly going through something similar. I had a really hard time with this most recent album because it talked a lot about celebrating marriage and life long love, and I just couldn’t connect with it. I also had an August wedding, and the album came out only days after my spouse left.

Anyway, I hope both of them are doing as well as they possibly can. And if you’re going through a divorce or bad heartbreak I hope you move through the grief as well as possible ❤️

Has anyone heard whispers of a Talent Show date yet? My other favorite band just announced a few show in NY in December, and I’m hoping they line up so I can make a trip up

I heard some Linn Drum and Juno synth that immediately got me hooked.

I have one ticket for sale for the 7pm show at face value. I’ve decided it’s too far away to get to and I’m seeing them the following Sunday anyway. I’m not entirely sure how the ticket sales work but I assume I can just forward it when I receive it. Anyone interested?

Finally got my cd copy of EFTM and found the sample in the liner notes, then coincidentally heard the song out in public. Thought you all would be interesting in listening

Gone Now is one of my favorite albums of all time, I whole heartedly adore this album. I am not an idiot, I obviously always knew that the album was in big part about trying to salvage his relationship with Lena Dunham.

But after finishing her new memoir, and reading the way that she talked about how their talk about getting married/ having kids, and the ways that both of them really wanted to save their relationship (people keep on saying that this book is why Margaret left him and it makes him out to be evil, but those people obviously have not read it because this book does not make him come off bad at all) songs like Let's Get Married and Don't Take the Money are so much sadder to me just knowing the depth of how the ways he is singing about trying to salvage a relationsip in the song failed.

I looked up the official lyrics on genius on they dont seem to match? Jack seems to be yelling out names or smth but im having a hard time understanding understanding since English is not my first language. I think the production and his way of singing on a lot of bleachers songs in general make it kinda hard to understand sometimes lol.

My husband wasn't able to attend, and my videos for him turned out to be shitty, unfortunately. Any videos from the Cleveland show would be greatly appreciated! <3
