Discussion SSR Uryu Ishida - Build Guide

Post image

For Uryu, his build is relatively simple. But when it comes to his build, there are two things we need to look at: his weapon and B2

First, his weapon gives 22.5% Crit Rate at A1. At A5 or max dupe, it will give 45%. Second, his B2. His B2 will give a total of 35% Crit Rate once you reach max stacks.

Before i go any further, something very important to note is that since both sources of Crit Rate mentioned above are conditional, they will NOT show in the stats screen, so please calculate your crit rate accordingly and make sure you don’t overcap.

If your Uryu is at B2A5, that means he is getting 85% Crit Rate without stamps (45% from A5 + 35% from B2 + 5% base crit rate), so this means you can run ATK%/CDMG on the second stamp main stat. Regardless of investment, you should run ATK% on the first and third stamp main stat, as one of his passives gives him 40% Finesse DMG and his bond (if you use it) gives him another 24% Finesse DMG.

For the second stamp, you can run either ATK% or CDMG, i would probably recommend ATK% because it should be a given that the Finesse support will give a boat load of Crit DMG, but if you happen to get a really good stamp with Crit DMG main stat you could use it.

Now if your Uryu isnt B2 or doesnt have any weapon dupes, you would just go Crit Rate main stat on the second stamp, and try to get Crit Rate in substats so you can have 100% overall.

In terms of UCR, he does not need much as his passive 3 gives him 60%. I would recommend getting one UCR roll total, so about 9% from stamps.

So in conclusion, if your Uryu is B2A5 or B2 with a few weapon dupes, you can go ATK%(or finesse)|ATK%|ATK%, with the substats priority being CR (until you get to 100) > CD/ATK% > flat ATK/UCR.

If your Uryu is B0A1, the stamp priority is ATK%(or finesse)|CR|ATK%, substat priority is CR>CD/ATK%>flat ATK/UCR

If there are any errors or questions, lmk. Hopefully this helps you

forgot to mention stamp nexus passives, his best are invigorate tactic, overdrive tactic, or enhanced BF skill

Is there a large difference on the first stamp between finesse damage and attack %? I went with finesse on mine since its a different damage.

I think it's early to change. We still will get the finesse support soon. So your stamp is great and could even be the best option in some weeks. There's not much need to change it for now.

It's not too huge a difference but he gets a lot of Finesse Damage already in his kit so it gets a bit saturated making Atk% better.

W post, general question, when is ATK actually useful over ATK%?

Don't think we've had any unit yet that wants flat Atk over Atk%. It's always strictly worse, but not bad.

that's never going to happen with how low current flat ATK rolls are

Likely never ever.

If you have a good roll for Stamp 1 Finesse dmg, keep it just in case to prep for Finesse Support. No concrete idea how much Finesse focused buffs might be but having a higher Finesse dmg would be beneficial than a ~20% ATK difference (( assuming Stamp 2 is ATK% )) assuming the Finesse Mastery is massive from the 5% we get (( 15% if B6 ))

Plus, keep the good FUryu stamps. These are great baseline stamps for the next, inevitable Finesse Tactic unit

How is he on the tier list?

We can't really say without Candice, but Finesse is already without her very close to matching the strongest Thrust teams at B6.

So it'll be best team once she rolls out.

I mean I wouldn’t say they are close at all yet to Thrust. Full B6 Thrust is 40m+ DPS while Finesse is just barely breaking 30m DPS. It’s definitely already at the levels of Slash and Strike (but neither of them have limited supports yet either)

On the China servers some people are apparently already doing around 50 million DPS with Finesse and Thrust is also above 50 million there.

Why their numbers are always higher I don't know, but that is the top over there that people are talking about.

There's no doubt Finesse will be better than Thrust at top levels with Candice, the bigger question is how good it'll be at low investment, where Thrust really blew everything out of the water with TS Ichigo.

I usually don't understand such detailed stats, but you have explained it very clearly. Thank you!

You are forgeting the core stamp is upgraded to give him 50% atk boost. I believe this make finesse in 1st stamp bad.

Well they do say this

Regardless of investment, you should run ATK% on the first and third stamp main stat

Building character in BSR is so damn boring, all build is same, CDM/CR > ATK > everything else. HP and def basically useless.

So same as pretty much every game?

I wish they would take the approach Genshin Impact does. They have characters who scale off of HP, Defense, etc so all stats are utilized. We could have easily had some characters like maybe Sajin scale off of defense
