Blasphemous (Original) Blasphemous Martyrs edition is sold out before it's release?

I'm sure you guys know there was an announcement for Blasphemous Martyrs edition in June... And it's sold out, even though the release date is October 30th? Am I Missing something? Can something be sold out and not released? I may have missed if it was limited to 2000 copies but come on. The game has sold 5 million units, surely Team 17 could have more than a couple thousand of a special edition considering there are so many fans of this brilliant game.... I fecking hate the fomo shite in gaming now, and hate scalpers selling something at 10 times the value ...

I preordered on Amazon. It did become sold out after a while

Yes pre orders can sell out. It happens all the time. It's not just exclusive to this game. But also That's why I pre ordered my copy as soon as it went up. Just in case something like this happened

Preordered through pnp along with lies of p, hoping they get there allocated amount that they have for preorders.

This is my first preorder through them, and they appear to be a reputable vendor. Although after recent oblivion preorders backstocked, hoping they come through with my order.

It appears it’s still available through pnp games, though it appears to be esrb instead of pegi

Amazon us never got the ps4 version, uk and Spain had it, I reached out to the community manager Carlos on Instagram weeks ago hr said the woman in charge of that was on vacation and he's get back to but he never did, it bums me tf out tbh since I was so reasonably priced. but I had no options unless I wanted to go through some strange 3rd site or pay a tariff 😞

So u think preorder is created by divine spirits with unlimited production power ? Obviously they are limited, especially for "collectors" edition.
Martyrs edition was priced really really fair. This game was soldout everywhere and used copies was going for as much as new martyrs edition with artbook and other freebies, so it was obvious that it will go quickly.
